About Us

Hello! I'm Jordan. In 2019, before starting my university journey, I founded Tappen Apothecary — not just as a way to help finance my degree but also to share my passion for hand-crafted quality products with others. Every candle from our collection is meticulously hand-crafted by me or by the heart and soul of our operation, my mother, Lee. These candles come to life in the heart of our homes — our kitchens.

In my academic journey, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Victoria, where I specialized in Entrepreneurship. On the other hand, my mom is a retired special education assistant who now volunteers in the community and helps me make and deliver our products. A shared vision binds both of us: to leave a positive imprint on the world, be it through business, philanthropy, or direct community engagement.

Our aim with Tappen Apothecary is simple. We aspire to infuse your living spaces with warmth, comfort, and luxury at an affordable price. Our contemporary-styled candles and other products aren't just objects but experiences. Enhanced by the latest techniques, they promise captivating aromas that linger and quality that outlasts.
